The University is located on the side of National Highway 37, at a distance of about 5 km from Dibrugarh town. The city is well connected to the rest of India by Air, Rail and Road transport.

By Air: The Mohanbari Airport is located around 20 km from the city. There are regular flights from important cities like Delhi, Kolkata, Guwahati operated by Air India, Indigo, Jet Airways (JetKonnect).

By Train: Dibrugarh has two railway stations namely Dibrugarh Town and Dibrugarh(DBRT). There are several trains including Delhi-Dibrugarh Rajdhani express which connects Dibrugarh with major cities like Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore, etc.

By Bus: There are regular day / night buses (AC / Non-AC) from state capital Guwahati-Dibrugarh.
