The Dibrugarh University community carried out a comprehensive cleaning operation at various installations (Hostels, Departments, Offices and Canteens) of the campus in the morning and in the afternoon in two phases on 29the February, 2016. As a part of their commitment to the Swacchh Bharat Mission, it may be mentioned that Dibrugarh University has already entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with District Water Sanitation Committee, Dibrugarh District for effective implementation of Swacchh Bharat Mission under the Swacchh Bharat Mission, Government of India for propagating the concept and practice of cleanliness, hygiene and good health through it affiliated colleges and on the campus. In the afternoon the Students of the University gathered in the playground of the campus and took Swacchta Pledge collectively. At the same time the Officers and the Non Teaching Staff of the University administration gathered in front of the Administrative Building and took the Swacchhta Pledge.
