The National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories - A Constituent Board of Quality Council of India (QCI) has issued its accreditation for the Soil Testing Laboratory of the Centre for Tea and Agro Studies for Chemical Testing of soil samples. The NABL Accreditation is done after very stringent assessment of the laboratory ensuring absolute fulfilment of all the requirements by the laboratory. The accreditation is valid till the end of September 2019. It may be mentioned that this laboratory of the Centre for Tea and Agro Studies is the second laboratory in the State after the one at the Tea Experimental Station, Tocklai, Jorhat accreditated by the NABL.
