Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences Dibrugarh University organized two days National Seminar on “Emerging Global Trends in Pharmaceutical Nanotechnology (PharmaNanotech-2018)” during November 23 – 24, 2018 with major financial assistance from SERB, DST, GoI. The event started at 10.00 am with welcome speech by Prof. Malay K Das, Convener, PharmaNanotech-2018 followed by the inauguration of the event by lighting of the lamp and speech by Prof. RNS Yadav, Dean, School of Science & Engineering Dibrugarh University. He elaborated the important scientific relevancies to organize the pharmananotech seminar at the recent times. The seminar was attended by the students, research scholars, scientists, and faculties. Students were motivated to attend the seminar and encouraged for their active participation.
Dr. Raj Kumar Banerjee, Dr. Tamilvanan S, Dr. Arun Chattopadhya and Dr. Debojit Borah exchanged their views and achievements in the fields of anticancer nanotechnology & nanomedicines, nanobiotechnology, nanotech ocular drug delivery systems and antimicrobial nanotechnology etc.
A total number of 15 oral talks and 47 posters were presented by the students, research scholars and faculties. Two best poster awards and two best oral presentation awards were conferred in the seminar.
