On behalf of Dibrugarh University, Centre for Studies in Physical Education and Sports and 46 Assam Medical Company NCC Dibrugarh University units organized the Rashtrya Ekta Divas on 31.10.2019 on the occasion of the 144th birth anniversary of the Iron Man of India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. on the occasion of the 144th birth anniversary of the Iron Man of India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Professor Nirode Baruah, Dean of Student Affairs flagged of a 5 KM “Run for Unity” in the morning. Speaking on the occasion Professor Baruah highlighted the importance of the Rashtriya Ekta Divas. A number of students, faculties, officers, employees and NCC cadets participated in the programme. During the programme the participants took pledge to maintain the unity cooperation for the development of the country. Dr. Mantu Baro, Centre In-charge of Centre for Studies in Physical Education and Sports and Associate NCC Officer administered the pledge on unity to the participants.
