Aveza 1.0, the Startup Conclave and Competitive event under AUXESIS v 9.0 - the famed Techo-Cultural and Management fest of Dibrugarh University Institute of Engineering and Technology, currently in it's ninth version - was held on the 2nd and 3rd of November, in collaboration with the Startup cell, TEQIP III (a MHRD funded Project) at DUIET and NRL.
The event was inaugurated by Prof. Dipak Chetia, Dean Research and Development of Dibrugarh University and welcomed the Chief Guest of the event in the presence of the five invited mentors, faculty members and students of the institute.
Dr. H Purushottam CMD NRDC addressed in this Student Startup Conclave held at Dibrugarh University Institute of Engineering & Technology, Assam. He spoke about the thriving Indian Startup Eco System and how the Central Government is promoting startups all over the country.
Besides Dr. Purushottam, the other mentors were Mr. Yugansh Chokra - founder of Shopnani (young serial entrepreneur), Mr. Dharmendra Kalita - founder and CEO of The Rook India, Mr. Kamal Kishore Kumawat - Cofounder and Director of Edgistify and mentor at Desaicentre for innovation at IIT Bombay, Mr. Pranab Jyoti Das - Independent Associate to Vestige Marketing Pvt. Ltd and Prasad Shetty - manager of Portfolio at Society of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, IIT Bombay. They enlightened the audience, consisting hugely of engineering students, about startup techniques and success mantras.
The event concluded with the prize ceremony of the Startup Event judged by the invited mentors.
