Dibrugarh University Chess (Men) Team participated in East Zone Inter University Chess (M) 2019-20 competition organized by CenturionUniversity Paralakhemundi,Odisha w.e.f. 29.10.2019 to 01.11.2019. The team achieved fourth position among 32 Universities and qualified for All India Inter University Chess Men Competition to be held at Gandhigram University,Tamil Nadu. The Team members were Sri Swapnanil Saikia (J.B. College), Sri Abhishek Borthakur, (Jorhat College) Sri Abhilash Dutta (D.H.S.K College), Sri Debangan Das and Sri Dhrubajyoti Borpatra (P.G.
