A general talk was held on “Various applications of Mathematics, Scope of research in IISc”, by Prof. Mrinal Kanti Ghosh from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore organized by Department of Mathematics, Dibrugarh University under UGC SAP DRS II Visiting Fellow program on 18th Feb’15 from 3pm to 5pm in New Conference hall. Prof M.K. Ghosh gave a brief introduction of the deptt of Mathematics of IISc where he mentioned about history of the deptt, faculty profile, research areas and course structures etc.
